2026 Eco Fest

ICAG has taken up the challenge to fill the gap left by the Ipswich City Council's decision not to hold the Sustainable Living Festival in Tulmur Place this year. Our EcoFest will of necessity be a bit smaller, but no less enthusiastic. 

Mark your calendars! Saturday 31st October 2026 - 9 - 12.30 at the Reception Hall at the Ipswich Showgrounds, ICAG has gathered a remarkable collection of local and nearby environmental groups including Sweltering Cities, Queensland Environment Council, Urban Reptiles and Renewable Energy for a morning of information, presentations and entertainment all for a gold coin donation.

Back by popular demand the Solar Wedding of the Year will be a feature and the Show Ground Cafe will be open for coffee and refreshments.

 Commencing at 2pm in the same venue, we invite you to celebrate the joyous creativity of upcycling, re-inventing and re-purposing used clothing: removing textiles and discarded items from landfill and turning them into wearable art fashion. For the third year we present the ICAG Trashion Parade!

Substantial prizes will be awarded in categories that include Upcycling, Creative kids, Wearable Art, Op Shop Fashion, Halloween, Old Favourites and single item or accessories, and competition is expected to be fierce, and fun. For more details, contact Rose on 0402644991 or Val on 0417722682.
